Nogo-R Inhibitors

Nogo-R inhibitors encompass a class of compounds that interfere with the Nogo-R pathway. This class may include small molecule inhibitors, peptides, and other agents that can impede the signaling mechanisms associated with Nogo-R function. These inhibitors operate by targeting the receptor itself, its ligand interactions, or downstream signaling processes such as the RhoA/ROCK pathway, which are crucial for the inhibitory effects of Nogo-R on neuronal outgrowth. The chemical entities that serve as Nogo-R inhibitors are diverse and include ROCK inhibitors like Y-27632 and Fasudil, which are small molecules that can cross the blood-brain barrier and modulate the RhoA/ROCK pathway.
