SEE ALSO...

Villin Antibody (BDID2C3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Villin in mouse, rat, human, and avian species through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Villin is a crucial actin-binding protein primarily found in the brush border of absorptive epithelial cells, where Villin plays a significant role in maintaining the structure and function of microvilli. Villin (BDID2C3) antibody recognizes a protein essential for organizing the cytoskeleton and regulating the assembly and disassembly of actin filaments, which is vital for cellular processes such as absorption, signaling, and motility. Villin′s ability to respond to calcium ions adds another layer of regulation, allowing for adaptation to various physiological conditions. Anti-Villin antibody (BDID2C3) detects a protein present in different tissues, underscoring Villin′s importance in both muscle and non-muscle cells, making anti-Villin antibody (BDID2C3) a valuable marker for studying cellular dynamics and pathologies related to cytoskeletal dysfunction.

Are there any issues with using sc-66022: Villin (BDID2C3) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-66022 conjugates.
