Can this antibody used in IHC?

Thank you for your question. TCF-1 Antibody (C-5) is recommended for detection of TCF-1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA.

What is the difference between C-5 and C-5 X antibody? Second one is recommended for ChIP, but how do they differ from each other? Is it issue of theirs purity, sold volume?

Thank you for your question. The TransCruz or "X" version of this antibody is 10X more concentrated at a concentration of 200 µg in 0.1 ml, and provided in a buffer of PBS and sodium azide, without any gelatin. This specific antibody, TCF-1 (C-5): sc-271453, has not yet been validated for use in ChIP. However, based on the performance of the antibody in other applications, we do recommend and warranty the X form of the antibody for the ChIP application. If you purchase the antibody and it does not work for you in one of the recommended applications, please contact our Technical Service Department and we can provide you with a replacement, credit or refund, per our product warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TCF1/TCF7 WBI received this antibody as a sample for Santa Cruz (thank you so much for that), and I used it for multiple rounds of Western Blot (WB). It worked really well for lens lysate and I look forward to trouble shooting more and placing an actual order for the antibody.
