Hello, are these antibodies good for Immunohistochemistry? Thank you.

Thank you for your question. We have not yet tested our mouse monoclonal, Smo Antibody (E-5) sc-166685, on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections and so it is not recommended for the application of IHC(P) on our website yet. However, this antibody has been cited in the literature for IHC and IF on PFA-fixed cells (for example, PMID's: 25171775 and 25750281). Based on these publications, we will extend our product warranty to cover this research application. The rabbit polyclonal, Smo Antibody (H-300): sc-13943, is now discontinued. We highly recommend the alternative mouse monoclonal listed above as a replacement. (https://www.scbt.com/scbt/product/smo-antibody-e-5).
