Can SIRP-α/β (A-1): sc-17803 monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, SIRP-α/β (A-1): sc-17803 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Funziona abbastanza bene in IHCI was interested in this antibody for IHC on FFPE and I’ve found a quite good antibody. I’ve stained several lymph nodes and the signal is quite clear on a DC subset as expected. The antigen retrieval used is water bath at 98°C for 40 mins, the antibody diluted 1:1000 was incubated for 1h RT and Novolink polymer (Leica Biosystems) was used as revelation kit. DAB was used as chromogen.
