QUICK LINKS

Prostaglandin Bx is a mixture of oligomers of PGB1 (sc-201217) with a molecular weight of 1,000-1,500, that has demonstrated anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective activity. This action is thought to be attributed to inhibition of the 14 kDa sPLA2. This compound also has antioxidant and free radical trapping activity, and has been shown to act as a Ca2+ ionophore.
