PR抗体（F-4）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆PR抗体（也称为孕酮受体抗体、PGR抗体或NR3C3抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测人源孕酮受体蛋白。PR抗体（F-4）既可作为非偶联的抗PR抗体形式提供，也可作为多种偶联形式的抗PR抗体提供，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。孕酮的作用是由孕酮受体的两种功能不同的亚型PR-A和PR-B介导的，这两种亚型是由PR基因单个拷贝内的不同、雌激素可诱导的启动子转录而来的。PR-B的前164个氨基酸在PR-A中缺失。与孕酮结合的PR-A和PR-B具有不同的转录激活特性。具体来说，PR-B在大多数细胞和启动子环境中作为转录激活剂发挥作用，而PR-A在转录上是不活跃的，并作为类固醇激素受体转录活性的强配体依赖性反显性抑制因子发挥作用。两种PR亚型中都存在一个抑制域（ID），该抑制域映射到受体的氨基末端。有趣的是，ID仅在PR-A中具有功能活性，并且是PR-A通过类固醇激素进行反式抑制所必需的，这表明PR-A和PR-B在细胞中可能具有不同的构象。

Does this antibody recognize mouse Pgr?

Thank you for your question. PR Antibody (F-4) is only recommended for detection of PR-A and PR-B of human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. Please refer to PR Antibody (A-2): sc-398898 or PR Antibody (AB-52): sc-810, which are also suitable for samples from murine cells and tissues.

Hi, Do you know the antigen epitope for F4 PR antibody? This information is important for us.

Thank you for your question. This antibody was raised against an antigen corresponding to amino acids 375-564 of PR of human origin. The exact epitope recognized by this mouse monoclonal antibody has not yet been determined.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-166169 X be used instead of the standard form sc-166169?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
