I am planning to use the pan CEA (H-8): sc-48364 monoclonal antibody for colon organoids genrated from human colon biopsias of tumor and healthy tissue. Would you recommend fixing the organoids with PFA or formalin? Thanks a lot

Thank you for your question. Our standard protocol recommends the following fixation methods. Wash briefly with PBS and fix cells by one of the following procedures: 5 minutes in -10° C methanol, air dry; or 2 minutes in cold acetone, air dry; or 10–15 minutes in 1–4% formalin in PBS (keep wet). I am using pan CEA (H-8): sc-48364 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?
