SEE ALSO...

p-VASP Antibody (5C6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects VASP in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-VASP antibody (5C6) specifically recognizes the phosphorylated form of VASP, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of actin dynamics and cellular architecture. VASP is primarily located in focal adhesions and microfilaments, where VASP interacts with actin filaments to facilitate cellular processes such as migration and adhesion. This localization is vital as VASP responds to extracellular signals and coordinates the cytoskeletal rearrangements necessary for cell movement and stability. Additionally, VASP undergoes post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation at serine residues, which modulate VASP activity and interactions with other proteins. VASP′s ability to undergo these modifications is essential for function in signal transduction pathways, making VASP a key player in various physiological processes and a significant focus in studies related to cell motility and cancer metastasis.
