    SEE ALSO...

MRP-L41 Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MRP-L41 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MRP-L41 (H-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MRP-L41, also known as Cell proliferation-inducing gene 3 protein and BMRP (Bcl-2-interacting mitochondrial ribosomal protein L41), is a crucial component of the mitochondrial ribosome, specifically part of the large 39S subunit, which plays a vital role in mitochondrial protein synthesis. This 137 amino acid protein is predominantly localized in the mitochondrion and is expressed in key tissues such as the liver, testis, kidney, and thymus. MRP-L41 is not only essential for the assembly of mitochondrial ribosomes but also significantly influences cellular processes, including the cell cycle and apoptosis. MRP-L41 has been shown to stabilize the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors p21 and p27, thereby facilitating cell cycle arrest in the G1 phase. Additionally, MRP-L41 enhances the stability of the tumor suppressor protein p53, contributing to p53-mediated apoptosis under growth-inhibitory conditions, highlighting its importance in cellular response to stress and regulation of cell proliferation.
