SEE ALSO...

MAP-1S Antibody (4H2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MAP-1S protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MAP-1S antibody (4H2) is available as a non-conjugated isotype antibody. MAP-1S protein, also known as microtubule-associated protein 1S, plays a crucial role in forming microtubule bundles, which are essential for maintaining cellular structure and facilitating intracellular transport. MAP-1S protein is part of the microtubule-associated protein family and stabilizes microtubules, influencing their dynamics and organization within cells. MAP-1S protein is expressed in various tissues, including cerebral cortex, testis, brain, heart, colon, kidney, liver, lung, placenta, spleen, stomach, small intestine, and neurons, highlighting MAP-1S protein′s importance in both structural integrity and cellular function across different biological systems. Through localization to both nucleus and cytoplasm, MAP-1S protein contributes to spatial organization of microtubules, which is vital for processes such as cell division, intracellular transport, and maintenance of cell shape.
