Thank you for your quesion. Currently, we find that the protein molecular weight detected by LAMP1 Antibody (H4A3): sc-20011 is around 120kDa. No deglycosylated LAMP1 can be identified by this antibody.

Is the target epitope for this Ab known? Specifically, I would like to know if this Ab recognizes the cytosolic or lumenal (lysosomal) domain of LAMP1. I ask because I need to use saponin in my expt, which only perms the PM.

hello, does this antibody recognize LAMP-1 in bovines?

Thank you for your question. LAMP-1 Antibody (H4A3): sc-20011 is recommended for detection of LAMP-1 of mouse, rat, human, and monkey origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and FCM. We do not have supporting data for reactivity in bovine cell or tissue samples.

Hello, I am currently trying to use the Lamp-1 Alexa 594 antibody for immunofluorescence in bone marrow derived macrophages but have had no success. Requesting assistance with optimising.
