Will IL-10 Antibody (A-2) Alexa Fluor® 647(sc-365858 AF647) detect rat IL-10 in flow cytometry? Is there any citation of flow cytometry detecting rat IL-10?

Thank you for your question. This product has not been tested for FCM and is not recommended for that use. It does have several publications in rat samples, so it definitely does react with rat IL-10.

I am using IL-10 Antibody (A-2): sc-365858 for Western blot. How do I know if the band I am detecting is specific?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the blocking peptide sc-365858 P as a negative control. Antibody binding to antigen may be blocked/competed by pre-absorption with the blocking peptide.
