HSP 56抗体（329.1）是一种IgG2a κ小鼠单克隆HSP 56抗体，可通过WB、IP和ELISA方法检测小鼠、大鼠和人源的HSP 56蛋白。HSP 56抗体（329.1）可以作为非偶联的抗HSP 56抗体使用。HSP 56（也称为FKBP4、FK506结合蛋白4、HBI、p52、FKBP52、FKBP59和PPIase）是一种顺反脯氨酰异构酶，属于免疫亲和蛋白家族。人类HSP 56基因（FKBP4）具有多个多聚腺苷酸化位点，并且HSP 56蛋白可以发生磷酸化。HSP 56影响淋巴细胞中的免疫调节基因表达、蛋白质折叠和转运。它可以作为类固醇激素核受体的共伴侣，以在靶组织中控制适当的激素作用。该蛋白可以与植烷酰-CoA α-羟化酶（PHYH）以及通过一系列四肽重复（TPR）结构域与HSP90结合。HSP 56是一种TRPC离子通道辅助蛋白，可调节受体刺激后的通道激活。

Why does one blot show no band for HSP56 in untransfected 293T cells the other blot does, and why don't you see more of it when over expressed? These data do not convince me that this antibody is actually staining for HSP 56

Thank you for your question. HSP proteins are generally pretty ubiquitously expressed so it is harder to show upregulation. The differences in signal observed between untransfected control 293T and HSP 56 transfected 293T could be a result of differences in protein loading, lysate preparations, exposure times, buffer quality, etc. There are many variables that can contribute to this observable difference. The data we show on our website is intended to be indicative of what you would expect when using this antibody. Please contact our Technical Service Department for further support.

What is the molecular weight of HSP 56 ?

In particular, we used this antibody to detect protein levels in nuclear and cytosolic cell compartments in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of mice and rats. In human samples we did not obtained protein bands detecting HSP56 levels. In general, we are not very satisfied with the obtained results, because Ab displayed low purity and high background in Western blot. Dilution to 1:200 for Western blot.
