    SEE ALSO...

GS1 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GS1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GS1 antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. GS1, also known as DXF68S1E or haloacid dehalogenase-like hydrolase domain containing 1A (HDHD1A), is a 214-amino acid protein primarily found in human placenta and fibroblasts. GS1 is part of the Adiponutrin family, which includes other lipase-active members such as Adiponutrin (ADPN) and adipocyte triglyceride lipase (ATGL). Notably, HDHD1A is an X-linked gene that escapes X-inactivation, a phenomenon crucial for understanding the structural organization of the human X chromosome and mechanisms underlying X-inactivation. GS1′s unique expression pattern in specific tissues highlights potential roles in metabolic processes and cellular functions, making GS1 an important target for research in developmental biology and disease mechanisms.
