革兰氏阳性细菌标记抗体（BDI380）是一种IgG1小鼠单克隆革兰氏阳性细菌标记抗体（也称为革兰氏阳性细菌标记抗体），可通过IF 和 ELISA检测革兰氏阳性细菌来源的脂磷壁酸（LTA）。革兰氏阳性细菌标记抗体（BDI380）可作为非偶联的抗革兰氏阳性细菌标记抗体使用。如果在革兰氏染色过程中细菌细胞保留了结晶紫染料，那么人们将该细菌归类为革兰氏阳性菌。染色后，革兰氏阳性菌在显微镜下呈蓝色或紫色，而革兰氏阴性菌则呈红色或粉色。这种颜色差异主要是细胞壁的特点造成的。革兰氏阳性菌通常有一层较厚的肽聚糖，肽聚糖是由糖和氨基酸组成的聚合物，在质膜外形成均匀的一层。革兰氏阳性菌还具有两个环，它支撑起细胞壁中的鞭毛和磷壁酸，这些物质充当螯合剂，有助于细菌粘附。革兰氏阳性菌主要包括芽孢杆菌属、李斯特菌属、葡萄球菌属、链球菌属、肠球菌属和梭菌属，以及放线菌门。革兰氏阳性菌标志物包括革兰氏阳性菌细胞上的各种蛋白质，它有利于研究此类细菌的功能和行为。

Can I use this Ab, together with a secondary Ab labelled with a fluorescent molecule, to stain live bacteria to be used in infection experiments?

Does this antibody work on lysozyme treated samples and has it been used on FFPE-tissue?

Thank you for your question. This antibody, Gram Positive Bacteria Marker (BDI380), sc-57752, has not been tested on lysozyme treated samples, and has not yet been validated for immunohistochemistry on formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections, so it is not recommended for that application at this time. We are still gathering data to show on our website. Check back for updates!

Does this antibody cross react with any of the gram negative bacteria ? or is it very specific for the gram positive species only

Thank you for your question. This antibody is specific for lipoteichoic acid (LTA) of Gram Positive Bacteria. It is not expected to cross-react with gram negative bacteria.
