原纤维蛋白是一种广泛存在的碱性非组蛋白，仅限于核仁的原纤维区域，包括致密原纤维和原纤维中心区域。原纤维蛋白也在HeLa细胞、3T3细胞和人类外周血淋巴细胞中表达。在中期和后期，原纤维蛋白存在于推测的染色体核仁区域（NOR）。在末期，原纤维蛋白是新形成的核仁位置的早期标志。原纤维蛋白的结构包括RNA结合域和RNP共识序列，这与原纤维蛋白与U3小核仁RNA的关联一致。原纤维蛋白参与核仁中rRNA转录物的加工。

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with Fibrillarin (F-6): sc-166000 monoclonal antibody?
