ENT1 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ENT1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ENT1 (F-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The equilibrative nucleoside transporter 1 (ENT1), also known as solute carrier family 29 (nucleoside transporters), member 1, plays a crucial role in cellular uptake and release of nucleosides, which are essential for numerous physiological processes. Located primarily in the plasma membrane, ENT1 facilitates transport of hydrophilic nucleosides, such as adenosine, across cell membranes, thereby influencing critical functions like neurotransmission and platelet aggregation. This transport is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating nucleoside availability to cell surface receptors, which can impact various signaling pathways. Additionally, ENT1 is significant in pharmacology, as ENT1 is involved in uptake of antiviral and anticancer nucleoside drugs, making ENT1 a target of interest in therapeutic research. With broad species reactivity and multiple applications, anti-ENT1 antibody (F-12) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying nucleoside transport mechanisms and their implications in health and disease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well in WesternsWe tested this antibody (1:1000) in Western blotting using human cell extracts and extracts from budding yeast expressing human ENT1. This antibody detected a single band at the expected size (~50 kDa) in human cell extracts and detected two bands in yeast cell extracts (one expressed similar in size to that in human cell extracts and a slower migrating endogenous cross-reacting yeast protein).
