    SEE ALSO...

ARL6IP4 Antibody (ZZ-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ARL6IP4 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARL6IP4 (ZZ-8) antibody is available as a non-conjugated anti-ARL6IP4 antibody. ARL6IP4, also known as ADP-ribosylation-like factor 6 interacting protein 4, SR-25, or SRp25, is a hydrophilic nuclear protein consisting of 360 amino acids, predominantly expressed in the testis and thymus. ARL6IP4 plays a crucial role in RNA splicing, as indicated by its serine-arginine repeat (SR) domain, which is characteristic of many pre-mRNA splicing factors. ARL6IP4 contains at least fifteen putative phosphorylation sites, highlighting its potential for post-translational modifications that can regulate activity and interactions. ARL6IP4 functionally interacts with Rac 1, a GTP-binding protein of the Ras superfamily, suggesting involvement in the regulation of Rac 1-dependent signaling pathways, which are essential for various cellular processes, including cell migration and proliferation. At the amino acid level, human and mouse ARL6IP4 proteins exhibit 77.7% identity, underscoring the conservation of this protein′s function across species.
