ARA70抗体（C-4）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆ARA70抗体（也被称作ARA70抗体），可通过蛋白质印迹（WB）、免疫沉淀（IP）、免疫荧光（IF）和酶联免疫吸附测定（ELISA）检测到小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的ARA70蛋白。ARA70抗体（C-4）既有非偶联形式的抗ARA70抗体，也有多种偶联形式的抗ARA70抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。雄激素受体（AR）辅激活因子ARA70，也被称作RFG和ELE1，是一种假定的辅激活因子，可特异性增强雄激素受体的活性。在人类甲状腺癌中，Ret原癌基因与ARA70融合，通过体内10号染色体的染色体内倒位形成Ret/PTC3。ARA70表达为两种异构体，ARA70α和ARA70β。较短的变体ARA70β是由内部985-bp缺失产生的。ARA70α广泛表达，在睾丸和脂肪组织中的表达最高，而ARA70β仅在睾丸中表达。ARA70α可作为脂肪细胞中PPARγ的配体增强辅激活因子发挥作用。然而，PPARγ-ARA70的反式激活可以被AR抑制，这表明PPARγ和AR介导的反应之间存在交叉对话。ARA70α没有内在的转录激活域或组蛋白乙酰转移酶活性，但它与组蛋白乙酰转移酶、p/CAF、CBP和p300/CBP相关因子以及基础转录因子TFIIB相互作用。ARA70与AR之间的相互作用通过配体结合域发生。ARA70的存在可以增强17-β雌二醇（E2）和抗雄激素对AR的雄激素活性。ARA70可能参与前列腺癌和卵巢癌的发生，并可能成为雌激素-雄激素协同作用的关键介质。

I am looking to use the ARA70 Antibody (C-4): sc-373739 for both Western blot and ChIP applications. Should I then purchase the “X” form of the antibody?

As you are going to use the antibody for both ChIP and Western blot, we would recommend that you purchase the standard form (sc-373739) of the antibody. Rated 3 out of 5 by from The antibody work partially well.We tested the antibody in Western Blot (in denaturating and reducing conditions) of 40 µg of total proteins extracted from HeLa cells. The antibody properly recognized the target protein with an expected MW only in HeLa cells that overexpressed the protein (ARA70 or NCOA4), wheres we did not observed any specific band in control cells (basal level).
