(+)-Pulegone is a monoterpene compound found in a number of essential oils, such as peppermint, pennyroyal, and rosemary. It acts through multiple pathways, including inhibition of cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase enzymes, modulation of intracellular signaling pathways, and modulation of gene expression. Studies have shown that (+)-Pulegone has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-microbial, and anti-cancer properties.
