    SEE ALSO...

Flavivirus Antibody (5E284) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Flavivirus protein of non-species reactive by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Flavivirus is a significant genus within the Flaviviridae family, encompassing over 70 viruses, including notable pathogens such as West Nile virus, dengue virus, and Japanese encephalitis virus. The structure of Flavivirus features a 40-60 nm enveloped, icosahedral nucleocapsid that encases a positive-sense, single-stranded RNA genome. This unique structural configuration facilitates virus entry into host cells and plays a crucial role in evading host immune response. Envelope proteins are essential for viral attachment and fusion, making these proteins key targets for neutralizing antibodies and vaccine development. Understanding Flavivirus structural characteristics remains vital for developing effective therapeutic strategies and vaccines, especially given increasing incidence of flavivirus-related diseases worldwide. Anti-Flavivirus antibody (5E284) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying these viruses and their interactions with host immune mechanisms.
