SEE ALSO...

Dengue Virus Antibody (D1-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Dengue Virus protein from Dengue Virus 1, 2, 3, and 4 origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Dengue Virus (D1-11) antibody is available in a non-conjugated form, providing researchers with a versatile tool for studying this significant pathogen. Dengue Virus, a member of the genus Flavivirus and family Flaviviridae, is responsible for causing Dengue fever, an acute febrile illness prevalent in tropical regions. The virus is transmitted to humans primarily through mosquito bites, leading to symptoms such as high fever, severe headaches, muscle and joint pain, and rashes, typically lasting six to seven days. The genome of Dengue Virus is a single-stranded positive-sense RNA that encodes three structural proteins—capsid, membrane, and envelope—as well as seven nonstructural proteins, which play crucial roles in the virus′s life cycle and pathogenesis. Notably, the envelope protein is essential for viral entry into host cells, as it facilitates the fusion of the viral and cellular membranes. Understanding the structure and function of these proteins is vital for developing effective vaccines and therapeutics against Dengue fever, as they are key targets for neutralizing antibodies and antiviral strategies. With detection capabilities across all four serotypes, Dengue Virus (D1-11) monoclonal antibody serves as an invaluable resource for researchers investigating the complexities of Dengue virus infections and their impact on public health.

what's the antigen for this monoclonal antibody? what's the sequece of amino acid of antigen? thank you very much.

Asked by: yellowqiang
Thank you for your question. The exact immunogen used to develop this monoclonal antibody, Dengue Virus (D1-11): sc-65659, is not known. The antibody was raised against multiple immunizations with several different strains of wild-type Dengue virus isolated in Honduras.
