    SEE ALSO...

Rad1 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rad1 protein in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rad1 Antibody (D-6) comes in non-conjugated form and various conjugates, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® options. Rad1 protein functions critically in DNA damage response, specifically regulating cell cycle checkpoints. Rad1 protein forms part of the 9-1-1 complex alongside Rad9 and Hus1, enabling Chk1 pathway activation during DNA damage response. This complex moves to DNA damage sites, facilitating repair and halting cell cycle progression until damage resolves. Proper Rad1 function maintains genomic stability, as disruption can lead to uncontrolled cell division and potential tumor development. Rad1 protein undergoes various post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation, affecting activity and protein interactions within DNA damage response pathways. Research on Rad1 protein interactions continues to advance cancer treatment strategies and expand understanding of cellular DNA damage responses.
