P-cadherin Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects P-cadherin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-P-cadherin antibody (D-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. P-cadherin, a member of the cadherin family, plays a crucial role in cell-cell adhesion, which is essential for maintaining tissue integrity and facilitating morphogenetic processes. P-cadherin is primarily located in the plasma membrane, where P-cadherin forms adherens junctions that connect adjacent cells, thereby contributing to the structural stability of tissues.
