Nucleostemin Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Nucleostemin protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Nucleostemin antibody (E-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nucleostemin, also known as Nucleolar GTP-binding protein 3, plays a crucial role in regulating cell proliferation, particularly in stem cells. Nucleostemin is predominantly located in the nucleoli of adult central nervous system stem cells, primitive bone marrow cells, and embryonic stem cells, as well as in various cancer cell lines. Nucleostemin′s nucleolar localization suggests a specialized function in ribosome biogenesis and cellular growth regulation, vital for maintaining stem cell self-renewal and differentiation potential.
