Gabexate mesylate is a Factor X inhibitor. At higher concentrations, Gabexate inhibits kallikrein-1 (Ki = 2.6mM), C1 esterase (IC50 = 520µM), as well as phospholipase A2 (IC50 = 500µM), rat NOS2 (Ki = 5mM) and NOS1 and NOS3 (Ki = 150µM), and swine kidney copper amine oxidase (Ki = 27µM), but not chymotrypsin.
