Diclofenac-d4 is a synthetic molecule that weighs 300.17 g/mol and is derived from diclofenac. The compound is a strong inhibitor of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which play a significant role in the production of prostaglandins. Diclofenac-d4 is employed to explore diclofenac′s mechanism of action, as well as its effects on apoptosis and cell proliferation. Diclofenac-d4 functions by suppressing COX enzymes′ activity, which limits the production of prostaglandins.
