APLNR Antibody (3C3-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the APLNR protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-APLNR antibody (3C3-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The apelin receptor (APLNR) is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in cardiovascular regulation and energy homeostasis. APLNR is primarily located in the hypothalamus, where APLNR is involved in the modulation of neuroendocrine functions, including the regulation of appetite and blood pressure. APLNR presence in glial cells, astrocytes, and specific neuronal populations highlights APLNR importance in central nervous system signaling pathways. APLNR is activated by its endogenous ligand, apelin, which leads to receptor internalization and subsequent signaling events that can inhibit cAMP production, thereby influencing various physiological responses. APLNR also serves as an alternative coreceptor for HIV-1, indicating APLNR multifaceted role in both health and disease. Understanding APLNR localization and function is essential for elucidating APLNR contributions to metabolic and cardiovascular disorders, making APLNR monoclonal antibody (3C3-7) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
