Zoledronic-d3 Acid is a compound that functions as a bisphosphonate in experimental applications. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of farnesyl diphosphate synthase, an enzyme involved in the mevalonate pathway. By doing so, it disrupts the prenylation of small GTPases, leading to the inhibition of osteoclast activity and bone resorption.
