ZNF746 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF746 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF746 (C-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF746, also known as PARIS (parkin-interacting substrate), is a 644 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation, functioning primarily as a transcriptional repressor. ZNF746 is located in both the cytoplasm and the nucleus, which is significant because dual localization allows interaction with various transcription factors and chromatin remodeling complexes, thereby influencing gene expression in response to cellular signals. ZNF746 interacts with Parkin, a protein involved in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, linking ZNF746 to neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson′s disease. The gene encoding ZNF746 is located on human chromosome 7q36.1 and mouse chromosome 6 B2.3, and exists in three alternatively spliced isoforms, each potentially contributing to diverse regulatory functions.
