    SEE ALSO...

ZNF596 Antibody (3302D3a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the ZNF596 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-ZNF596 antibody (3302D3a) is available as a non-conjugated format. ZNF596 is a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, characterized by its 11 C2H2-type zinc fingers and a single KRAB domain, which is crucial for function in transcriptional regulation. ZNF596 is primarily located in the nucleus, where ZNF596 plays a significant role in modulating gene expression by interacting with DNA and other regulatory proteins. The presence of the KRAB domain allows ZNF596 to recruit histone-modifying proteins, thereby influencing chromatin structure and accessibility, which is essential for proper transcriptional activation or repression. ZNF596 undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in three distinct isoforms, each potentially having unique regulatory roles in cellular processes. Understanding the function and interactions of ZNF596 is vital, as dysregulation of zinc-finger proteins has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, making ZNF596 (3302D3a) antibody a valuable tool for research in gene regulation and disease mechanisms.

I am using ZNF596 (3302D3a): sc-81146 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
