ZNF384 Antibody (3545C5a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the ZNF384 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB). Anti-ZNF384 antibody (3545C5a) is available as a non-conjugated format. ZNF384, also known as zinc finger protein 384, CAGH1, CIZ, NMP4, or TNRC1, is a crucial 577 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a significant role in gene regulation. ZNF384 contains eight C2H2-type zinc fingers and is classified within the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, which is essential for function as a transcription factor. ZNF384 binds to specific DNA sequences, particularly the consensus sequence [GC]AAAAA, allowing regulation of various target genes, including MMP-1, MMP-3, MMP-7, and COL1A1, which are involved in critical cellular processes such as tissue remodeling and response to injury. The gene encoding ZNF384 is located on human chromosome 12p13.31 and spans over 23,000 bases, highlighting complexity and importance in cellular function. ZNF384 interacts with p130 Cas, a protein that plays a role in signaling pathways related to cell adhesion and migration, further emphasizing significance in cellular dynamics and potential implications in cancer and other diseases.
