ZNF31 Antibody (MM-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the ZNF31 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ZNF31 antibody (MM-9) is available as a non-conjugated format. ZNF31, also known as Zinc finger protein 31, ZSCAN20, KOX29, ZFP-31, or ZNF360, is a 977 amino acid protein that belongs to the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family and is primarily localized in the nucleus. ZNF31 plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation, as ZNF31 contains one SCAN domain and ten C2H2-type zinc fingers, which are essential for DNA-binding capabilities. The presence of these zinc fingers allows ZNF31 to interact with specific DNA sequences, thereby influencing gene expression and cellular processes. ZNF31 is known to interact with various proteins, including KAP1, which is involved in chromatin remodeling and transcriptional repression. Understanding the interactions and regulatory mechanisms of ZNF31 is vital, as ZNF31 may contribute to the development of therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to dysregulated gene expression.
