Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rafferty Rafferty, A. et al. (PubMed 18962671) prepared alumina-zirconia composites by two routes: powder processing and colloidal processing. For the colloidal method, Zirconium(IV) propoxide solution was added to alumina powder, in 5 wt%, 10 wt% and 20 wt% quantities.
