ZASC1 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZASC1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZASC1 (H-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZASC1 protein, also known as ZNF639 (zinc finger protein 639) or ANC-2H01, is a 485 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation and is localized in the nucleus, where ZASC1 contains five C2H2-type zinc fingers. These zinc-finger domains are essential for ZASC1′s ability to bind DNA and regulate gene expression, which is vital for numerous cellular processes, including cell differentiation and response to external stimuli. The gene encoding ZASC1 is located on human chromosome 3, a region associated with various genetic diseases and key tumor suppressor genes, such as RASSF1, which mediates apoptosis, and SEMA3B, which suppresses angiogenesis. Understanding ZASC1 function and interactions is important for elucidating ZASC1′s role in cancer biology and other diseases linked to chromosomal abnormalities.
