Z-VAD(OH)-FMK is an irreversible pan-caspase inhibitor. Useful in studies involving enzynes, Z-VAD(OH)-FMK comes in a non-methylated form. Z-VAD(OH)-FMK can interact with recombinant, isolated, or purified enzymes. Z-VAD(OH)-FMK does not require pretreatment prior to in vitro use, unlike the methylated form.
