    SEE ALSO...

YANK2 Antibody (4A7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects YANK2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-YANK2 antibody (4A7) is available as a non-conjugated format. YANK2, also known as STK32B (serine/threonine kinase 32B) or STKG6, is a crucial serine/threonine kinase consisting of 414 amino acids and characterized by its single protein kinase domain. YANK2 plays a significant role in cellular signaling by catalyzing the ATP-dependent phosphorylation of target proteins, which is vital for regulating various cellular processes such as cell division, apoptosis, and homeostasis. YANK2′s importance extends to its involvement in the phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of serine and threonine residues, a key mechanism that governs a wide array of cellular functions in eukaryotes. YANK2 interacts with several specific proteins, which may further influence its role in signaling pathways and cellular responses. Multiple isoforms of YANK2 arise from alternative splicing, adding complexity to its functional repertoire and potential regulatory mechanisms within the cell.
