QUICK LINKS

Xanthurenic acid selectively activates group II mGluRs in transfected HEK 293 cells at nanomolar concentrations. Xanthurenic acid is an activator of mGluR-2 and mGluR-3. Xanthurenic acid also attenuates cAMP formation in mouse cortical slices with mGluR-2 and mGluR-3 expression.
