Wnt-8a Antibody (14-3) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Wnt-8a of mouse origin by western blotting (WB) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Wnt-8a antibody (14-3) is available as the non-conjugated format. Wnt-8a plays a crucial role in regulating embryonic development and cell signaling pathways, particularly in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for various cellular processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. This pathway is vital for proper organ development and tissue homeostasis, and dysregulation of Wnt signaling has been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer. Wnt-8a is primarily expressed in the developing brain, particularly in the forebrain, where Wnt-8a influences the patterning and development of neural structures. The gene encoding Wnt-8a is located on human chromosome 10q24, and Wnt-8a expression is tightly regulated during development, highlighting Wnt-8a′s importance in both normal physiological processes and potential pathological conditions.
