WDR74 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects WDR74 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WDR74 (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WDR74 protein, also known as NOP seven-associated protein 1 (NSA1), is a 385 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the nucleolus, where WDR74 is involved in ribosome biogenesis and gene expression regulation. The presence of six WD repeats in WDR74′s structure allows participation in essential cellular processes, including chromatin assembly and signal transduction, which are vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental cues. The gene encoding WDR74 is located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome, Jacobsen syndrome, and Niemann-Pick disease, highlighting WDR74′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states.
