QUICK LINKS

VPC 23019 is an EDG (sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor) antagonist that selectively inhibits EDG-1 (sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 pKi = 7.86) and EDG-3 (sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 3 pKi =5.93). It has also been shown to inhibit the growth of several types of cancer cells, including breast, prostate, and lung cancer cells. In addition, it has been used as an inhibitor of the enzyme PI3K, which is involved in the regulation of cell growth and differentiation.
