VPAC2 Antibody (AS69) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects vasoactive intestinal peptide receptor 2 (VPAC2) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-VPAC2 antibody (AS69) specifically targets VPAC2 receptor, which is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family and plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) and pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP). VPAC2 receptor is predominantly expressed in the brain and immune cells, where VPAC2 is involved in important physiological processes such as neuronal differentiation and T cell activation. VPAC2 receptor activates adenylyl cyclase, leading to increased levels of cyclic AMP, which is vital for various signaling pathways that regulate cellular responses. Additionally, VPAC2 receptor′s ability to interact with both VIP and PACAP highlights VPAC2′s significance in neuroendocrine signaling and potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders and immune responses. VPAC2 monoclonal antibody (AS69) in detecting VPAC2 receptor makes this reagent an essential tool for researchers studying the intricate roles of peptide hormones in health and disease.
