VEGF Inducer, GS4012 is a cell-permeable pyridinyl-thioether compound which acts as a potent inducer of VEGF and VEGF-mediated vessel formation. GS4012-induced upregulation of VEGF correlates well with its ability to suppress the gridlock/coarctation phenotype (7.5 μg/ml) in Zebrafish as well as to stimulate tubule network formation (5 μg/ml) in HUVECs.
