Sharps Container – UltraCruz^®

UltraCruz^® Sharps Container provides a safe, hygienic, and convenient place to throw away sharp objects. Sharps Container can be used by laboratory, medical, veterinary, or other professionals to contain or dispose of contaminated needles, syringes, and other sharp biohazardous waste. Composed of puncture-resistant plastic, Sharps Containers are safe to autoclave or incinerate. Containers are also lightweight, portable, and stackable to reduce storage space before use. Available sizes include 4, 8, or 14 quarts with either horizontal or big mouth circular openings. Each lid type is clear to easily view the fill level. Horizontal Sharps Container features a rotating chamber that automatically and safely drops sharps into the container. This horizontal drop design provides maximum usage of disposal space. A built-in lever allows for sharps to be manually dropped into the container. The 4 and 8 quart Sharps Container can be nested for compact storage and are ideal for countertop use. The 14 quart size is perfect for placement on the floor. Caution: Due to the large opening, these containers are intended to be used only by trained staff. To avoid possible needle sticks, keep containers out of reach of untrained personnel.
