- Supported nitrocellulose transfer membrane is used for procedures requiring rigorous handling. Supported nitrocellulose transfer membrane is strong; it will not curl, bend or crack after baking.
- Nitrocellulose supported transfer membrane is cellulose acetate free, assuring high binding and sensitivity with low backgrounds. Nucleic acid binding is 100 µg/cm2.
- 0.45 µm pore size nitrocellulose membrane is recommended for higher molecular proteins (13 kDa-400 kDa).
- Applications: Western Blot, Immunoblot, Southern Blot, Northern Blot, Dot Blot, Radiolabelled, chromogenic and chemiluminescent detection systems
