UltraCruz® Centrifuge, 12 placer is a table top centrifuge that comes with a combination rotor and is ideal for quick spin downs of microcentrifuge tubes and PCR tubes. Table top Centrifuge spins fluids of different densities to separate various parts. It is suitable for a variety of micro sample sizes and lab protocols. Designed to fit on lab workbenches and other small stations, 12 placer Centrifuge is perfect for medical, industrial, and research laboratories, as well as academic and clinical settings. Centrifuge is very simple to use; the smooth and quiet operation is controlled by opening and closing the lid. Once closed, it quickly spins to operating speed of 5,500 rpm. Pressing the open lever engages the friction brake and brings the rotor to a rapid stop. The combination rotor holds up to 12 microcentrifuge tubes along with 32 PCR tubes (4 PCR strips); there is no need to change rotors when switching between microcentrifuge tubes and PCR strips. Also, you will not have to cut your tubes to make them fit the traditional 8 position rotors anymore!
