- Lead-free autoclave tape can be used for steam sterilization.
- Lead-free autoclave tape has striping in steam-sensitive lead-free ink to indicate steam sterilization.
- Once autoclaving protocols are complete, regularly-spaced, diagonal striping on the tape will change color, to indicate the materials inside the wrap have been processed.
- Adhesive is designed to work with disposable, non-woven and linen autoclave wrappings.
- Lead-free autoclave tape can seal autoclavable packages while remaining elastic enough to prevent opening during the autoclave process.

Description
UltraCruz® Autoclave Tape, also known as Autoclave Indicator Tape, can be used for labeling labware undergoing high pressure steam sterilization. Autoclave tape has green stripes that turn black during sterilization to indicate a specific temperature has been reached. Exposure temperature commonly used in a high pressure steam sterilization processes is typically 121°C. Autoclave Tape will maintain its adhesiveness during autoclave sterilization. UltraCruz® Autoclave Tape has excellent adhesive backing that is easy to remove and leaves no residue.
