UBP 310 is a GLUK5 kainate receptor antagonist with an IC50 of ~ 130 nM. This compound has also been shown to block recombinant homomeric GLUK7 receptors, displays 12,700-fold selectivity for GLUK5 over GLUK6, and does not exhibit any activity at mGlu group I or NMDA receptors at concentrations of up to 10 µM.
