TXNDC4 Antibody (E-6) is a high quality monoclonal TXNDC4 antibody (also designated TXNDC4 antibody) suitable for the detection of the TXNDC4 protein of mouse, rat and human origin. TXNDC4 Antibody (E-6) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-TXNDC4 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-TXNDC4 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TXNDC4 (thioredoxin domain containing 4), also known as ERP44, is a 406 amino acid protein that contains one thioredoxin domain, a motif that participates in various redox reactions throughout the cell. Localized to the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), TXNDC4 functions to inhibit the activity of IP3R-I (inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate receptor,type 1) within calcium channels. In addition, TXNDC4 is thought to regulate oxidative protein folding within the ER and may be involved in retaining proteins, such as Ero1-Lβ and Ero1-Lα, in the ER. TXNDC4 expression is induced by ER stress, further suggesting an important role for TXNDC4 in the maintenance of intraluminal conditions. TXNDC4 contains an N-terminal ER targeting sequence, as well as a C-terminal ER retention signal (RDEL), both of which keep TXNDC4 within the ER.

While the staining shown here appears quite dispersed throughout the cytoplasm, I have found my staining of TXNDC4 to be somewhat localised to what looks like the Golgi (as well as general cytoplasm). Has this been seen before? Could it be the dilution?

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with TXNDC4 (E-6): sc-393687 monoclonal antibody?
